The Bridge, which has been designed to encourage the development of knowledge-based industries, has been selected as a site for the Institute for Sustainability.

A centre of research excellence, the Institute is working to accelerate commercial innovations for sustainable living and is the only initiative of its kind in the UK. Working in partnership with China’s eco-city project at Shanghai, the Institute is developing a global network that will share best practice in environmental technology.
