Business Start-Up
The entrepreneurial culture is an essential part of The Bridge and there are various
ways that the development can help people who are starting up a new company.
The Nucleus business and innovation centre has been designed specifically to encourage
start-up and early stage companies offering not only accommodation but also business
advice and networking opportunities as well as links to both universities and funding
organisations.
Recognising that some people choose to start their businesses from home, Taylor
Wimpey is building a number of live/work units close to the Nucleus where occupiers
will be able to use the centre's virtual service. Providing the same services and
contacts available to Nucleus tenants, the virtual service is open to every resident
at The Bridge – where broadband is fitted in every home as a standard feature –
as well as to business people in the wider local area.
