The Bridge is a mixed-use business and innovation park that has been designed to encourage an entrepreneurial culture and the development of knowledge-based industries in the Thames Gateway. A joint venture between Prologis and Dartford Borough Council, The Bridge will integrate over 1.8 million square feet of commercial space with hotels and restaurants, new homes, community facilities and over 80 acres of public open space. For organisations that are keen to be part of Europe’s largest area of regeneration, The Bridge is the perfect location.

The Bridge offers a range of build-to-suit opportunities for B1, B2 and B8 uses up to 100,000 sq ft. The facilities will be developed by Prologis, the UK’s leading provider of distribution and industrial buildings.

The Bridge can provide flexible Grade A office space for companies at every stage of their development. A start-up business can rent a desk and then an office at The Nucleus business and innovation centre. For larger organisations, there are a range of build-to-suit opportunities from 25,000 sq ft.

Science and Technology

The Bridge offers dedicated science and technology space and can provide a range of build-to-suit facilities from 25,000 sq ft.

Building on the success of both Premier Inn and Beefeater Grill, The Bridge can accommodate further hotel and restaurant operators as well as other leisure uses.

Fast Track Route

The Bridge has been sensitively designed to protect and enhance the natural environment. Alongside the more formal landscaped areas, the development includes retained wildlife habitat, sports facilities and three freshwater lakes, all of which are linked by a network of footpaths and cycle ways. The development is an ideal location for the sporting events that are run on site throughout the Spring and Summer months; these include triathlons, aquathlons, the Big South East Swim and The Bridge 10K. Reflecting the ethos of The Bridge, artist William Jordan is creating a sculpture trail across the site. Made principally from re-cycled and reclaimed materials, the sculpture trail offers an interesting new perspective on ideas of innovation and sustainability. Running through The Bridge, Fastrack Route A connects the development to the shops and leisure facilities in Dartford town centre and Bluewater as well as to railway stations at Dartford, Greenhithe, Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International.
